Our candles are made from a palm based NATURAL wax blend. This allows for 90% less soot being released into your home. The only reason our candles aren't 100% soot free is that we don't use natural fragrances. Experience tells us that not only to natural fragrances tend to concentrate in one area, but the fact that natural fragrances really don't smell as good as ours. We use only the highest quality fragrances around, and make sure our candles are scented THROUGHOUT the candle, to assure you of the same scent from beginning to end. Our candles are also LEAD FREE!
Our 16 oz jar candles contain two cotton wicks. This is to allow our candles to burn evenly. Because they burn evenly, if used properly, our candles will burn slower (average burn time for our 16 oz candle is 80-120 hours!!) and cooler than parrafin candles! Our candles are manufactured above standard acceptable flash points on all candles! They clean up easily with soap and water due to the natural waxes and the lower temperature!
